It was RESOLVED that the Chairman sign the January minutes as a correct record.
Hole in road at Sella Road has now been excavated and filled. Gillet has now been filled. Recycling bank has not been moved. Road sweeper has been through Woodland area, agreed to chase Bruce Evans again for information on schedule for road sweeper throughout Parish. Doctors will publish their schedule for surgery as soon as they are able in the Parish Pump.
Mrs Morgan complained about accessibility of website and dates of minutes. Mrs Townsend queried the possibility of entering Village in Bloom Competion in 2008.

16/08 Wilson Park John Batten agreed to undertake the grass cutting of the main area at the same cost. Clerk to contact Michael Fish to undertake strimming the playarea again this year. Neighbourhood Forum have confirmed grant cheque will be issued. Playsafe have removed the timber house and have been paid for equipment as agreed and will undertake further work when the weather allows lorry access for wetpour etc. Request made of Elaine Knowles by Jane Roussou of Ace Cafι to hold Sport Relief event on 16th March in Wilson Park. Council agreed although no vehicles to be allowed.
Meeting has again been delayed. The matter of the Business Report and the provision of CCTV on the building must be discussed. Quotations in the region of £1200 - £4000 have been obtained. The management committee need to decide whether to install CCTV in view of Police recommendations and insurance requirements. The cleaner has decided to leave and although Julie Clucas is willing to undertake the tasks, this leaves the Victory Hall without any holiday cover. Late night clearing up of the Victory Hall is becoming a problem with hirers cleaning up after midnight. Library Link is imminent.
18/08 AOB Cllr Vera Glessal Wall gap is down, it was thought that the field is Martin Coopers, Peter Munday agreed to contact him. Cllr John Batten Broadband is coming to Seathwaite via the former television transmitter on Brockbarrow, work commences on 17th March for approx 7-10 days to completion. Cllr Jeff Barker (By email) Wishes matter of street lights around the Copper Rigg development to be pursued. Clerk to write letter to Russell Armer regarding their plans for the replacement of street light removed and provision of any other lights Cllr Graham George (By letter) Believes that more dog fouling signs are required along the railway line. Previous signs were obtained from SLDC by Joss Curwen
