62/07 Minutes

It was RESOLVED that the Chairman sign the November minutes as a correct record.

63/07 Matters Arising

Christmas tree was successfully erected by Peter Munday and John Batten (and family) and the able equipment & assistance of Russell Armer. A letter of thanks should be sent to Mike Hillbeck at the site office.

The charge levied by Co-operative Bank for copy bank statements has been refunded.

Confirmation of BACS payment of VAT claim for two years to 31 March 2007 has been received – total amount received £11,651.49.

67/07 Wilson Park

Letter received from Playsafe suggesting specific type of springer as part of replacement of wooden house and stating terms and conditions. Letter of confirmation of acceptance of conditions and items to be purchased to be sent in order to enable works to commence. Confirmation of £500 grant towards costs of equipment has been received from Neighbourhood Forum, but they require some information prior to awarding grant. Jeff Barker to pass on details to Clerk in order to provide requested details.


68/07 Land Registration

Jeff Barker, John Batten and Graham George appointed as members of sub-committee – they will meet in early January and pass on initial findings to Council meeting.

 

69/07 AOB

Victory Hall to appear on agenda every month in future.

Requested an area of Broughton Square to be coned off for carol singing on 20 December.

No work has been on gillet – although repairs have been made to rest of road

Broadband may be available in March

Cllr Joss Curwen

Speed gun training underway, in groups of five volunteers, asked if police could come and train with gun in dark.

Bottle & can banks must be moved in January. May require letter sending.

No parking signs on mosses at Angerton.

Cllr Jeff Barker

With supply to light cut off by United Utilities should Council be paying for electricity, letter should be sent. Letter to be sent to David Winch to ascertain if he would be wiling to have a streetlight affixed to his property on Cinder Hill.


70/07 Date of Next Meeting

There being no further business the next meeting was set for Wednesday 16th January 2008 at 1930.
